What Happened ?

when the armed guard accompanying the van asked the driver to stop the vehicle near Metro station so that he could relieve himself by the roadside. The van driver told the guard that he would wait for him in a lane nearby .But when the guard returned , both the van and driver were no-where to be seen.

The van was found abandoned while the driver had absconded with a locked cash-box containing Rs 22Crore.

Lack of a solution to prevent unauthorised access to Locks on door and boxes.

Place : Bengaluru

Date : Nov 23, 2016

What Happened ?

when two other employees had gone to a bank to collect money, the van driver of the logistics agency drove away with Rs. 1.37 crore collected from banks in Bengaluru .

He picked up a small trunk with Rs. 92 lakh and abandoned the van.

On November 24, a day after the heist, the van was found abandoned at Vasant Nagar and police recovered Rs 45 lakh.

What Happened ?

when the Brinks Security cash van had come to replenish an SBI ATM , a cash custodian from the bank, took out a bag full of money from the van and was walking towards the ATM when three men on a bike snatched it from him.

DCP said that people couldn’t tell them the registration number of the bike and the criminals haven't been traced yet .

Triggering Mechanism, We have options of :

Pressing and holding the phone's switch button for a few seconds, shaking the phone vigorously, tapping on the app button,  or even a loud screaming sound like PLEASE HELP which the app can detect and send SOS.

  • We confirm for the following Triggering Mechanism :
    • Phone Switch Button for few Seconds
    • Shaking the Phone Vigorously
    • Tapping on the App button (this is already demonstrated in the POC)

The Feature to using 'Loud Screaming Sound like PLEASE HELP' has to be evaluated for the feasibility. Will revert here.
